Purpose:

Join a small team responsible for developing and delivering Production Printshop Management software PrintCise that is the cornerstone of several European contracts. If you are a collaborative person, works well with teammates and an occasional Client, and are a motivated self-starter, then we want you! Come help us grow our business. Responsible for those functions, activities, and skills required for analysis, design, coding, integration, test & maintenance of software modules, subsystems or systems which control other electrical, mechanical, electronic or network systems. This role requires both German and English.

Scope:

  • 3-5 years software development experience in a commercial product development environment.
  • Translates business requirements into technical requirements pertaining to the solution being developed for a Client.
  • Manages time well and good estimator of effort to complete software development tasks
  • Primarily domestic scope; may include some international scope (rare).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
  • Will write documentation, install software, and provide ongoing Level 2 support for Client solutions.
  • Provides ongoing Software Support after solution goes Live.
  • Role includes occasional work on-site with Customer to work through defects of the digital print production solution or environment.
  • This role is "remote capable", however some travel to client sites may be needed.
Skills Required:

  • Java, Eclipse.
  • German is the primary language, English is the secondary language.
  • Knowledgeable in one or more of the following: Maven, Jenkins, Git, XML, XSL, Javascript, PostgreSQL, PDF, HTML.
